Plan to fill up in Port Alberni - the last major hub for your grocery/supply/restaurant needs before you reach the town. Our stay at Bryan’s place was fantastic from start to finish. The space was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the balcony view of the water — we loved watching the sea lions throughout the day! The location was ideal: close to plenty of trails and within walking distance of local shops, yet still peaceful and quiet. Bryan was responsive, friendly, and made the entire process seamless. We truly felt at home and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ucluelet. ☺️❤️

We came for a short mid week vacation in February, so the area was extremely quiet! One of the nights it felt like we were completely alone at the resort. I am not sure if I read the full details of the location and accommodation when we booked so I was pleasantly surprised by everything haha including what felt like our own private beach. The sea lions were there to welcome us upon our arrival. It is also less than a 5 minute walk to the lighthouse loop trail which had amazing views. If we had binoculars we would’ve been able to see the whales! The place was clean and quiet, for us it was a great size (2 adults, 1 dog) with two bathrooms, sauna and lots of space but you could easily stay there with 1 or 2 kids. Kitchen had everything we needed and if you go in the off season I would recommend bringing a few of your own meals since some of the dining was closed. Bryan was very helpful with lots of info including updating us on various beach closures that came up while we were there.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bryan’s place at Terrace Beach. The location is unbeatable! …quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, yet still so close to everything Ucluelet has to offer. The space itself was incredibly cozy and comfortable, and we really appreciated having our own private area to relax and unwind. A special thank you for being so thoughtfully dog-friendly. Our two golden retrievers truly felt at home, and the bowls, blankets, and towels provided just for them were such a lovely and unexpected touch. It made traveling with our dogs feel easy and genuinely welcomed. This was the perfect retreat for rest, connection, and a little coastal magic. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. 🌊✨

This accomodation was incredibile! We spent more time there than expected because of it's location and amenities. We would sit out on the back deck and enjoy the view of the beach, both in the morning and at night as we gazed at the stars. The sunsets are as descibed and the colours are beautiful. We had a sauna every night. The beach is approximately 20 meters from the accomodation and the Lighthouse trail starts approximately 300 meters. The kitchen has enough ammenities that we were able to cook fresh seafood at the accomodation. All in all we cannot say enough great things about the place. The host would check in from time to time but everything was set out so clearly we really didn't need to ask for assistance. I highly recommend this accomodation.

We stayed for two nights — an amazing place with true seclusion in nature. A stunning view, falling asleep to the sound of the waves, and deer roaming around the property. We loved everything and would definitely recommend it.
