There is also a majestic family of eagles located in the large tree above so please be mindful of small children and pets. ★ THE DRIVE TO UCLUELET ★ Portions of the drive to Ucluelet have limited reception and limited gas stations or stores. Plan to fill up in Port Alberni - the last major hub for your grocery/supply/restaurant needs before you reach the town. Morning Mist is one of several individual cabins located in a resort complex connected by boardwalks meandering through the rainforest. You will have your own entrance to access the entire home.

I first visited Ucluelet over 20 years ago, when the cabins had just opened. Terrace Beach quickly became one of the places where my daughter discovered her love for the ocean—a passion that led her to become a marine biologist. Because of that, this place holds so many memories for me and my family. It has always been one of my happy places, and I’m so grateful to say that it still is. Jennifer and Bryan made this return visit truly special, allowing me to reconnect with cherished memories while creating new ones. Thank you for protecting and caring for this place so it can continue to be shared with everyone. I can’t wait to come back.

We had a great 6 nights at Jennifer's place on Terrace Beach. The house was comfortable and very well placed for exploring the peninsula. We watched otters playing in the bay while having breakfast on the deck and enjoyed an afternoon in the hot tub when the weather turned rainy. Great walks to be had by just walking out of the door and exploring parts of the Wild Pacific Trail. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets in peaceful surroundings and enjoyed watching and listening to the resident bald eagle nesting. We'd love to come back!
