There is also a majestic family of eagles located in the large tree above so please be mindful of small children and pets. ★ THE DRIVE TO UCLUELET ★ Portions of the drive to Ucluelet have limited reception and limited gas stations or stores. Plan to fill up in Port Alberni - the last major hub for your grocery/supply/restaurant needs before you reach the town. You can also get groceries and gas in town when you arrive.

Nicknamed “Ukee” by the locals, a hidden gem just 30 minutes drive from the world famous year-round surfer’s paradise of Tofino, Ucluelet has grown into a popular travel destination on its own. The vibe: a quiet, laid-back pacific northwest surf town with towering old growth trees, abundant wildlife, and unmatched ocean views around every corner. Take time to check out the unique shops, restaurants, cafes, breweries and distilleries minutes away from your cabin. You can also rent bikes or surfboards/paddleboards/kayaks, hop on a whale watching tour, visit the aquarium, and venture out on several epic hiking trails. Nestled in the temperate pacific rainforest, the cabin looks out to the open ocean and connects directly to the famous Wild Pacific Trail right at your doorstep. You won’t find this anywhere else!

Guest Access

The cabin is exclusively yours, relax, unwind, and make yourself at home. We are one of several individual cabins located in a complex connected by wooden boardwalks meandering through the rainforest leading to each unit. From the parking area, guests will walk along the boardwalk and navigate a short set of stairs (approx. 8 steps) and a gentle incline to reach the cabin. The walk typically takes 3 to 5 minutes or less. Once past the stairs, luggage carts are available to help transport your belongings to the front door. While the path is well-maintained and scenic, it may be less suitable for guests with mobility challenges or those who prefer step-free access

My family and I always enjoy our stay here. The staff are extremely kind and thoughtful. The cabins are clean, not to mention the breaktaking views and sunsets as well as the easy-to-access beach. We will be back in a month for 10 days and have already booked one stay for next year while finalizing the planning for a second one. I think that and the fact we've stayed here for the last few years is a testament to why other potential guests should as well. So, if you're "on the fence", hop off and get to booking. :)
